Transforming Underprivileged Communities
The Sial Foundation works across two connected divisions. Our healthcare, welfare and education programmes serve the community directly and are provided free of charge. Our commercial ventures exist to fund them, with surplus directed back into the Foundation's welfare work. All projects are based in and around Chak No. 32/4-L, Mureed Abad, Okara, Punjab.
Sial Medical System
Our integrated healthcare programme, managed by the Sial Medical Group. Miraj Bibi Free Health Clinic: general OPD and consultation with qualified doctors, basic emergency care and first aid, free medicines, vaccination and preventive health programmes, free laboratory testing, and ambulance and air ambulance services. Established in memory of Miraj Bibi (Marhooma). Jannat Memorial & Community Hospital: a general hospital planned for a 15-acre site at Chak No. 32/4-L, opening at initial capacity and expanding to 250 beds with specialised treatment, surgical and emergency care. Sial Medical College: a teaching institution in Okara developed alongside the hospital. Hospital and college timelines are subject to completion of land acquisition.
Community Welfare & Support Services
Direct relief and dignity-of-life services for families in Chak No. 32/4-L and the surrounding area. Ration Distribution Programme: door-to-door distribution of ration packs to households in need, managed by the Social and Welfare Department. Seniors Assisted Living & Peace Village: a planned residential community offering supported living, care and companionship for elderly residents. Funeral Home: a planned facility providing full funeral amenities to bereaved families at no cost.
Religious, Heritage & Memorial Facilities
Restoration and stewardship of the community's shared religious and memorial spaces. Mosque Reconstruction: rebuilding of both mosques serving Chak No. 32/4-L. Graveyard Improvement: upgrading of burial grounds, including boundary walls, access paths, landscaping and ongoing maintenance. Shah Bhore Graveyard Welfare Society and Darbar Ismail Sadhar Welfare Society: operating under the auspices of the Sial Foundation and the patronage of the Haji Muhammad Mureed Sial Trust, these societies are engaged in a range of social and welfare initiatives serving underprivileged communities.
Education, Skills & Youth Empowerment
Preparing young people in rural Okara for modern, income-generating work. Youth Empowerment Project: a modern educational facility equipped with 80 to 100 computer workstations, delivering courses in e-commerce platforms including Shopify and Amazon, alongside digital marketing, supported by a purpose-built curriculum and dedicated trainers. IT Centres and Job Training: vocational and digital training delivered within the village development programme. Administrative and Faculty Building: office space, a cafeteria and faculty accommodation supporting the education programme and Foundation administration. Courses are provided free to participants.
Village & Infrastructure Development
Misali Village & Modern Village Development: a comprehensive rural development programme undertaken in coordination with the Government of Punjab. The programme covers schools, IT centres, job training facilities, improved roads and utilities, and sustainable community spaces for residents.
Agriculture, Livestock & Dairy
The Foundation's principal revenue-generating division. Sial Livestock & Model Farms: a controlled-operation dairy and livestock facility planned for up to 25,000 cattle across approximately 100 acres of owned land, with additional rented land for feed production. Sial Milk Processing Plant: a processing facility to modernise dairy operations, improve milk quality and add value to farm output. Sial Poultry Farms: broiler and layer poultry operations housed in environmentally controlled sheds.
Industrial & Manufacturing
Concrete & Fabrication Plant: concrete manufacturing and steel fabrication, supplying both the Foundation's own construction programme and the regional market. Garment Factory: textile manufacturing prioritising local employment, with particular emphasis on opportunities for women. Cold Storage and Ice Factory: cold-chain storage for regional agricultural produce, reducing post-harvest loss for local farmers. Petrol Pumps: fuel stations at Okara Cantt and Chak Alwardi.
Hospitality, Property & Commercial Development
Commercial ventures operated to generate sustainable revenue, whose surplus funds the Foundation's healthcare, education and welfare programmes. Five-Star Hotel & Conference Centre, Okara Cantt: 250 guest rooms and suites with banquet halls, restaurants and conference facilities, including lodging for the families of hospital patients. Modern Office Buildings and Shops: commercial premises surrounding the Foundation's offices, supporting local business and generating employment. Affordable Housing Project: residential development for local families and Foundation employees.
